Mopero Wa Maloba Biography

Mopero Wa Maloba is one of the great flock of musicians Zaire (congo) molded in the 70's and 80's. His best work was probably done while with orchestre Shama Shama. Later in his life Mopero stopped entertaining the world and decided to server God as a Minister.

Mopero moved to Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) where he became a pastor and an Evangelist. He died on August 17th 2008 in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) At the request of his family, his remains were transported back to his beloved homeland, Congo on Monday Sept 2008. He was buried on Saturday September 20th 2008.
